A huge thank you to the entire Dressage in the Sierra show crew for putting on such a wonderful event this past weekend!

Every outing with Opala is another step forward, and this weekend was no exception. Saturday’s rides came with plenty of wind, making for an excellent training opportunity and a chance to practice staying focused in less-than-ideal conditions. By Sunday, things came together much more smoothly, and it was rewarding to feel her growing confidence and maturity.

One of my favorite parts of these weekends is spending time with our local dressage community. There were so many beautiful horse-and-rider pairs, and I always leave feeling inspired, motivated, and excited to continue learning and progressing with my own horses!
