Anxious yet excited
Today I got up with a tremendous amount of excitement. Anxious for the upcoming school year, and what it will bring.
I am also excited to share my ideas with my students as well as learn about theirs.
My goal has always been to help the younger generation reach their fullest potential; to attain proficiency in whatever they do.. I know this level of achievement does not happen overnight and without the input of work. My aim as a teacher, this school year, is to show my students how to put in the work… and projects are great ways to do just that.
I am excited to meet my new sixth graders...Making introductions virtually is going to be challenging, but I am ready to see what it brings. My first project will focus on my students day to day lives, while showing them how to put in the work needed to improve themselves holistically .
I am anxious yet excited….This year, I am taking my students outside that so called 'confined box'. I am going global; we will use the world as our giant textbook…

Parents, find out your child’s reading and math levels so you can better help them at home. Contact your child’s school or teacher to get that information.
If your child is in the 7th grade that does not mean your child is reading and doing math at that level. Your child might be at a lower academic level. The more you know, the more you can help your child learn at home...
