Applications are NOW OPEN for Milwaukee Recreation's Everyone Plays! youth scholarship for our upcoming fall season! 🎨⚾🎵
If you live in the city of Milwaukee and receive any state or federal assistance, such as WI Shares or SNAP, your children are eligible to receive a scholarship for most summer classes in the Milwaukee Recreation Guide. These include arts and crafts, cooking, dance, fitness, languages, music, outdoor education, sports, swimming, and more!
Every activity is designed and supervised by our attentive and caring staff, providing a safe environment for kids to learn and have fun. All youth are welcome to participate, and accommodations will be made for those who need them. Please visit mkerec.net/plays to learn more and apply today!

Gather your team, and get ready to run!
Milwaukee Public Schools and Milwaukee Recreation's 19th annual Run Back to School is Saturday, August 22, starting at the MPS Central Services building and winding through Washington Park. The 5K run and 1.5-mile walk support MPS youth sports, wellness, and recreation programs.
School teams with at least 25 registered participants are eligible for a $500 grant to support their school's sports or wellness needs. The school with the most registered participants is eligible for a $1,000 grant!
