You can’t really fake what’s part of your personality. And that’s why .lilacmoon had a session that WORKED.

Don’t box yourself into a brand that isn’t you. Katie didn’t. Why should you?

She made the choice to embrace every part of what makes her, her. Baddie side. Professional side. Mom side. Serial entrepreneur side. Partner side. Educator side. Human side. Woo woo side. All of them.

We’re multifaceted humans. Complex on so many more levels than what social media scrubs from us. You get to choose to show up as you, or not.

But if you choose to hide behind something that isn’t you…lemme just say this.

It’s one of those things you can see, but you can’t quite put your finger on. It just doesn’t feel right. And as a photographer who works with a lot of service providers who have a job to meet clients irl, it impacts your connections right off the bat.

So instead of choosing to soften the edges on social to not rock the boat, f**k it 🤷‍♀️

Rock the boat. People will know where you stand from first impression on, and then you won’t have any room to fake it, making it a hell of a lot easier to show up as you and do your job, without hiding who you are 💅

I usually don’t sell my own personal work, but after a few years of wading through the archives from living in Japan…I think we’re ready to show ‘em off to the world.

Our first stop is happy hours with this Thursday from 3-7pm where we’ll have matted 5x7s, 11x14s, and a curated collection of framed and matted pieces.

While a whole lot of this work is from all over Japan 2019-2022, I had a few requests for some limited edition prints. Like the s**t talking sheep from Stratton 🤭
