They’ll say it’s anonymized and in many cases, that’s true. But it’s still your business data. Your workflows, your activity, your patterns.
And opting out isn’t always simple. Sometimes it takes a support request, not just a setting. And anything already collected usually stays.
If we're being honest, this is where it gets frustrating.
You’re already stretched thin. Now you’re supposed to track AI policies across every tool you use?
That’s not realistic.
So the practical move is this: when you can, choose platforms that clearly state they won’t train on your data and put that in writing. And if your stack is growing, look at ways to manage privacy across everything without doing it all manually.
