“There is no tool for development more effective than the empowerment of women.” Kofi Annan, 7th U.N. Secretary General.

In anticipation of The Duncan Group's first ever pop up gallery, over the next 24 hours we will be sharing a few of Chip Duncan's photos that showcase the strength of girls and women from across the world. The collection will be on display starting this Friday at 5 pm at the Vibrant Body Company in Milwaukee's Third Ward. The images are on loan this week from the Building Bridges museum exhibition.

Hello All! I'm excited to announce that our short documentary film, "The Sound Man," will be shown at the Nashville Film Festival, starting this weekend! The film will be screened Sunday April 19th at 1 pm and again on Wednesday April 22, at 4:30 as part of the festival's "SHORTS - DOCUMENTARY SHOWCASE 2." If you're in the area, I encourage you to go out and see the film!

The Sound Man is a documentary short featuring 62-year-old location sound engineer Abdul Ramadhan. While working with acclaimed photojournalists, including Mohamed Amin, Abdul recorded the sounds of revolution, war, genocide and famine throughout East Africa.
