Beatallica - Sgt. Hetfield's Motorbreath Dub Band (2007)

With a few exceptions, such as Steel Panther, The Darkness, The Rutles, Dread Zeppelin, Elvana,
and of course the magnificent godfather of the scene "Weird Al" Yankovic, the idea of parody mash ups, and rocknroll approached with a tongue firmly in a cheek, is often enough dismissed as disposable novelty fodder.

But as I don't have that 'guilty pleasure' gene I'm always up for getting down with a nod and a wink joke being whipped hard.

I think it comes from a love of the surreal and maybe growing up with Monty Python.

So Beatallica has certainly hit the spot with their debut album Sgt. Hetfield's Motorbread Dub Band.
