Little did Anya know that moving to a completely different state for work would lead to her person. I walked into this day not know much about these two but I quickly felt like an old buddy that got to celebrate this couples love for one another. Both of them have a such a sweet soul that shows with the people surrounding them. The day was so relaxed with a go with the flow vibe that it turned out to be one the ultimate celebration. I don't think I ever stoped smiling through this day! Congratulations to this amazing couple!

These two lovers are some very special people to Nicholas and I. Andrew has been a coworker of Nicholas's for a few years now, and we immediately fell in love with Marlee when they first started dating awhile back. They got engaged exactly a year ago and decided they couldn't wait another day and eloped back in August. I basically forced them to dress up and take professional wedding photos to celebrate their marriage. Boy am I glad they did! Celebrating all kind of love and commitment is so important. We love them darling and can't wait to watch their relationship grow for many years to come! :)

As I wake up today on my first day as a 35 year old, I can't help but reflect on where God has guided me in this world so far. Nicholas woke me up with coffee by my bedside, a bunch of kisses singing "HAPPPPPYYY BIIIIRRRRTHDAY" (Marilyn Monroe style), and a surprise in the kitchen. I truly don't know what I would do without him every step of the way for the last seven years. He always puts us first.

This will be my first and only post I talk about this as I don't want sympathy but to share our story for others that might be in the same situation as us.

We have been struggling with infertility for over a year and half now. It's funny how your mind switches from the excitement to starting a family to worrying that it just might not be in the cards for us. We have gone to the fertility clinic, but have been met with a lot of speed bumps (including this week). We have had a ton of love and support from our family and friends, but also from my amazing clients I have gotten to know personally over the years. This career truly is something special! We are forever grateful for that.

As I start this new year of my life, I am going to be holding my chin up high, leaning on my husband who truly show me love every single day, and trusting that God has a plan for us like he always does.
