Sharp Shot EFX

Alright I've keep it "secret" long enough I'm doing a Buggy cosplay
This nose is sculpted in NSP Chavant clay, I'm making a super simple plaster of Paris mold and will be making slip latex prosthetics from it

Eventually I really would like to revisit the old Indiana Jones makeup, I hastily sculpted this prosthetic as an experiment and I'd really like to take the time to do this as a proper multi piece appliance, maybe with silicone pieces rather than slip latex.

This is probably not surprising to any of you but I had a strong Lego obsession growing up, and as some of you recall, before there was Lego Indiana Jones, there was Johnny Thunder.
What's funny is I never actually had any of the Adventurers sets growing up, but I used to read the Orient Expedition comics on the Lego website, and I loved seeing Johnny appear in the Lego Island and Lego Racers games.
I LOVE wearing this to cons as infrequently as I might just to see how many people actually recognize who I'm dressed as.

"I don't know about you Miss Kitty, but I feel so much yummier"
At AMKE when I wasn't running about in a rubber monster suit I was posing suggestively in a rubber cat suit
I've had this Catwoman cosplay for YEARS from .fashion but haven't had many opportunities to wear it, so this year at AMKE I asked my beloved friend to get photos of me wearing it.
This was a step out of our comfort zone for both of us, but it was such a fun experience shooting and I really want to do more like this in the future.
For some of you this is a slight departure from my usual content but for others this is a return to form for me if you remember my baddie era

It's been a week since C2E2 and my GOD what a ride it was this year.
First of all, being asked to be one of the judges of the biggest comic con in the city is an incredible honor and I am so thankful to have played a part in this year's show.
To my fellow Crown judges and contestants, thank you all for being so welcoming and so kind. I cannot even begin to express how warm it felt to be in the presence of so many artists that I look up to and to not only have my opinions valued but to also be considered an expert in my field of FX. I hope to walk the stage alongside you all next year.
To everyone who walked the stage in the cosplay showcase, whether this was your first competition or if you're a seasoned veteran, thank you so much for showing up and showing off. I don't think I'd be where I am now if it weren't for my first few years of doing the showcase,.
I was all over the place this weekend as a direct result of all this however and unfortunately didn't have a chance to see many of you but I hope everyone else had a great time.
I want to extend a huge thank you to for inviting me to take part in the show, with both the competitions and the horror showcase, I loved having a space to show off my little creatures and I'm excited to see how the space grows over the years.
Above all else, thank you everyone who has stood by me all these years. I literally would not be doing this if it wasn't for all of you.

Whole con crunching for C2E2, I realized I never had a chance to properly finish Imhotep, so hot off the heels of Vecna I figured this was a good opportunity to fill in some missing details.
I swapped the fabric pants and the old boots for Vecna's pants (because why make a second set after all) and built a new mask from second quality castings from the Ghoul and Crispy Anakin molds.
I was going back and forth on the mask for a while, I really just DID NOT like it for a few days until I finally added the lips and then it just kinda clicked for me.
So excited to wear this to C2E2, hopefully I have some time to make accessories as well, I would love to either make a canopic jar or, if time permits, the Book of Amun Ra.
Wild to think The Mummy Returns is 25 years old now 💀
