UWM Union Cinema

Cinema has movies for everyone. Milwaukee premiers of highly acclaimed independent films occur weekly alongside popular Hollywood films and informative documentaries. Our film series include International Cinema, Documentary Frontiers, Cinema Classics, Hollywood Films, Experimental Tuesdays, Locally Grown, and Share the Earth Environmental Films. We are also privileged to host many annual and semi-annual film festivals including the Annual Festival of Films in French, Student Film and Video Festival, and many many more! Not only do we have a stunning lineup of films each week, but we also have the unique capability to screen 16mm and 35mm film prints. This means that many of our films are shown in their truly breathtaking, analog form. Watching films in this form is a visual delight that is becoming rarer and rarer as many movie theatres convert entirely to digital projection.
