The Dominican Center was founded by Sister Ann Halloran, OP and Sister Anne-Marie Doyle, OP in 1995. They began this urban ministry program in Milwaukeeโs Amani neighborhood. By addressing the needs of women, they hoped to make positive change in the distressed area. Through the years, the Dominican Center has been responsive to the changing needs of the community. It now serves both men and women

Mark your calendars! Our first Mobile Food Pantry of the season is happening TODAY, Wednesday, June 17 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the Dominican Center, located at 2470 W. Locust Street.
Amani families can receive free meat, dairy, fresh produce, pantry staples, and more while supplies last. Items are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to arrive early.
