Beyond our project work, our commitment to the environment is reflected in the actions we take as a team.

Last week, our Madison office kicked off its second year participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program with a successful cleanup of its adopted mile along County Road AB, while employees from the Milwaukee Corporate office volunteered their time to clean a 2-mile stretch of County Line Road in Mequon as part of the City’s Adopt-a-Road program.

Efforts like these, especially on , are great examples of how our teams continue to give back to the communities where we live and work, helping keep local roadways clean while making a positive impact beyond the office.

Thanks to the generosity of our employees, Kapur once again participated in Guest House of Milwaukee UNDY 500 donation drive, helping provide new underwear and undershirts to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

The annual campaign helps meet a basic but essential need for shelter guests, and we appreciate the consistent support our team shows it. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

From educational spaces to cultural destinations, projects that improve Milwaukee and the people behind them deserve to be celebrated.

Congratulations to everyone involved, including our own site design staff, for being recognized through this year’s Mayor’s Design Awards for their work on the Rogers Street Academy Pedestrian Mall and Milwaukee Repertory Theater.

Projects like these help strengthen Milwaukee’s neighborhoods and community experience, making it great to see them recognized for the lasting impact they will bring to our communities.

Mayor's Design Awards 2026 Affordable land and leasing costs, abundant fresh water, an educated workforce, low business costs and easy access to financing, technical assistance and efficient transportation have helped local businesses succeed and grow.

National Safety Month serves as a reminder that safety is built through preparation, awareness, and everyday actions. Whether in the office, in the field, or on a job site, creating safer environments starts with a shared commitment from everyone.

This week also marks National CPR and AED Awareness Week, recognizing that preparation and training can make a life-saving difference when the unexpected happens.

Because at its core, safety is about looking out for one another, whether that's a coworker, project partner, client, or member of the community, and taking shared responsibility for the well-being of those around us.

One decision laid the foundation for what we are today. What started in 1981 with one employee and a vision for a different kind of engineering firm has grown into 45 years of projects, partnerships, and people who continue moving Kapur and our clients forward.
