30 years ago today, on September 19, 1989, the Milwaukee office of Mallery & Zimmerman was founded by Randy Erkert. Mike Finn (then of First Financial Bank) introduced Randy to Tuck Mallery in Wausau. Randy and Tuck hit it off, so Randy left his prior firm and found temporary office space with a client and began work under the Mallery & Zimmerman name. We have grown significantly since those humble beginnings. At every step along the way, we have emphasized excellent legal work and close relationships with our clients. We continue to understand that excellent business and real estate lawyers cannot only be proficient in their legal areas; rather, they also need to understand the businesses of their clients and the legal needs of the owners of those businesses.
