Dora Diamond

Hello friends, I have a pretty big life update I'd like to share. Due to circumstances out of my control, I have had to postpone my move to New York City. I just don't have the funds to safely move yet, so I'm shifting focus in a big way to help me get there.

In late March, I will be moving back to my hometown and living with my parents to help save money and regroup. This decision was not made lightly, and it is accompanied by a lot of emotions, some euphoric, some dysphoric. This is a huge change to my plans, which is painful, but it's the reality I have to face, and I'm doing so head-on. I will continue to apply for jobs and work very hard until I reach my goal, I just ask for patience and compassion while I process this transition.

I'm keeping my GoFundMe live while I continue raising and saving money, and if you live in the Milwaukee area, you have a few more opportunities to support me and see me perform before I leave Milwaukee.

Friday 3/8: I'm performing in Melee Queen's show at Hamburger Mary's MKE

Friday 3/22: My official going away party/farewell show. Location TBA

I will also be visiting in June for Pridefest where I hope to perform.

I'm accepting gigs up until 3/22, so if you would like to book me before I go, I've got some availability. Also if you want to peer into my civilian life, come see a show at CSz Milwaukee - Home of ComedySportz Milwaukee and I'll serve you some snacks and drinks.

I want to sincerely thank all the people who have supported me and believed in me during this journey. I feel the love and I'm so grateful. I also want to specifically give thanks to my mother JoAnne Dormady and my besties Paula L. Broschofsky and Jean Ttarp for their kindness and generosity in the facilitation and ex*****on of this transition.
