ies and entertainment to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee community. The Registered Student Organization is open for all UW-Milwaukee Students to join via PantherSync. (panthersync.uwm.edu) UW-Milwaukee Alumni, faculty, and staff are welcome to inquire about joining. This invaluable organization has six committees: the coffeehouse, arts, cultural diversity, film, music, and nerd studies. Each committee has the opportunity to create programs tailored to the students at large. Past programs include: live music, art exhibits, film viewings, video game marathons, and of course volunteering in the day-to-day operations of the 8th Note Coffeehouse. The 8th Note Coffeehouse is the most visible aspect of the organization. Being entirely volunteer-run, it hosts the majority of the 8th Note Activities Board programs and activities. During fall and spring semesters, the 8th Note Coffeehouse opens daily Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend openings for special events. Stop on in for the cheapest coffee and tea on campus, along with flavored coffee and non-coffee drinks.
