One thing I’m learning in this industry: you can’t force people to care.

You can explain the risks.
You can educate.
You can give real-life examples.
You can genuinely want the best for someone.

But some facts still fall on deaf ears.

At some point, you realize your job is to inform people, not force them. I can’t save everyone from poor decisions. I can only make sure they had the opportunity to make a better one.

Who is your successor?

Everybody talks about success, but what about a successor?

A successor is simply someone chosen or prepared to take over a role, responsibility, or legacy when someone else steps away or is no longer here.

That could be:
– Taking over a business
– Managing finances or assets
– Leading a family
– Carrying on values, decisions, or traditions

It’s not just about being next in line… it’s about being ready.

A lot of people build things but never think about who’s going to continue it, or if that person even knows what to do.

Real question is:
If something happened today, is there someone in your life who could step in and handle things the way you would?

And if so… have you actually prepared them?
