The Franklin Police Department is searching for a suspect in an attempted sexual assault on the Oak Leaf Trail. A 41-year-old Franklin woman was assaulted on the trail between Drexel Avenue and Puetz Road.
Police describe the male suspect as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 180 pounds, with a muscular build. At the time, he was wearing all black, speaking with a deep voice and wearing a face mask during the assault. He was last seen running north toward Drexel Avenue on the Oak Leaf Trail.
