:::NEW MEMBER ANNOUCEMENT::: GMR Therapy Dog Team is excited to announce the newest member, Murphy, a lovable goldendoodle who is ready to bring comfort, connection, and plenty of smiles wherever he goes. Murphy will be calling AMR Spokane his home base, working alongside his handler, Sarah Orvis. Together, they’ll be supporting crews locally and serving on the Peer Support Team.
Murphy got his name from Murphy’s Law because in EMS, if something can happen, it probably will! Staying true to the EMS theme, his name was actually suggested by one of our own AMR Spokane team members. Murphy is stepping into this role as our previous therapy dog Wraith retired, and he’s got some big shoes (paws) to fill, but we know he’s up for the job. Don’t let the serious expression and those eyebrows fool you, he’s all smiles and one very happy pup! If you swing by CES, you’ll probably find Murphy doing one of his favorite things, napping under a desk or table. Welcome, Murphy! 🐾🚑
