ABOUT US: Measured Fabrication was formed in 2024 after a successful two-year collaboration of Jeff Phelps and Tom Edwards. The project was to design and build a mobile music venue to serve the entire community. It was great outcome, and we were awarded the Memphis 2023 Innovation Award for the project.
Since then, we formed a new company to design and fabricate things to order. Jeff is a 4-year active Marine veteran, 4-year active reserves with 26 years with the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a High security welder.
Tom has 35 year’s experience in corporate facilities management, design, construction and consulting and is a licensed General Contractor. His formal education was in Architecture and Engineering.
Our services include design and fabricating a wide variety of metal and wood products.

Here is our most recent project, converting a 1967 Airstream to a 2024 mobile coffee shop:
~All new flooring
~All new wiring, front to back
~LED accent lighting with color dampening
~Custom cabinets and countertops
~Two refrigerator/freezer
~Electrical upgrade to operate all equipment and air conditioning simultaneously
~Custom made pastry window with accent LED lighting
Project complete and ready to serve Memphis!

I built a custom rear suspension for a 1964 Fairlane.

I build custom gates. This gate is solar powered with a custom plasma letter cut. It is 18 ft x 6 ft tall.
Introducing the Shell on Wheels. It takes an hour and 37 minutes to complete the open set-up and ready for showtime!

The Overton Shell on Wheels has been one of the biggest and best projects I've had the opportunity to work on. We were watched by many leading up to the grand opening.
