One of the more unique clients we’ve had the honor of working with this past year is . It’s no small feat to reimagine a historical destination like the Chattanooga Choo Choo, but the team at .studio nailed it.

This singular property at the foothills of the Appalachia in Tennessee has been a fun one! Drawing from the US Railways history of constructing lodges and chalets to encourage travel and adventure, the hotel embraces the legacy of rail travel, inviting guests to journey to the surrounding mountains, explore arts and entertainment and partake in après voyage libations.

Guests can stay in the main hotel, or do an overnight in one of 24 restored train carriages. The entire hotel was masterfully designed by to honor the history of train travel while bringing all the elements of modern luxury travel.
