Scouts - Join us on Saturday, August 22 for Storm Breaker Stables' first-ever Horsemanship Badge Workshop! This all-day, hands-on experience is designed for youth ages 10+ who want to learn more about horses while working toward badge requirements.

Participants will spend the day at the barn actively engaging in horse care, safety, handling, grooming, and horsemanship activities led by experienced equestrians.

📣Now Hiring: Part-Time Property Maintenance & Groundskeeper
Storm Breaker Stables – Milan, MI

Storm Breaker Stables is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team in a part-time position helping maintain our beautiful 40-acre farm. 🐴

Pay: $25/hour (paid daily)
Hours: Approximately 8 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

Responsibilities

* Complete a weekly maintenance and project list
* Perform general groundskeeping and property maintenance
* Maintain paddocks, fencing, and 30 acres of trails
* Operate lawn equipment, including mowers and w**d trimmers
* Spray w**ds and assist with landscaping
* Operate tractors, side-by-sides, and ATVs
* Safely use chainsaws and log splitters
* Complete general repairs and other handyman tasks as needed

Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
* Able to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
* Experience operating tractors, side-by-sides, and ATVs is required
* Experience with fencing, chainsaws, and general property maintenance is preferred

Requirements

* Background check and references required
* Must be trustworthy, dependable, and respectful
* Maintain a smoke-free, vape-free, drug-free, and profanity-free work environment while on the property
* Comfortable working around horses and goats
