Our last CEO (Chief Example for Others) Awards of this school year focused on the character trait of service. These Midvale Mustangs consistently demonstrated service to others. What a wonderful trait to embrace! Thank you, Midvale Mustangs, for your service!

When we learned that our 3rd graders were writing letters to the Midvale Mayor as a part of their lessons on communities, we thought we had better invite Mayor Dustin Gettel to classrooms to hear what his constituents had to say! Mayor Gettel visited 3rd grade classrooms, listened to students reading their letters, answered questions, and demonstrated using his large "mayoral" scissors for an impromptu ribbon cutting ceremony. Thank you, Mayor Gettel, for spending part of your day with us and for listening to what our students had to say!
