Utah’s laws are changing in 2026, and if you begin before the end of this year, you’ll be grandfathered in under the current system. That means you can still earn your full barber license without the major cost increase that’s coming.

After the new law goes into effect, there will be two tracks:
• Barber Permit — more restrictions
• Master Barber License — higher cost, more requirements

I’ve already helped 6 barbers get fully licensed.
My 7th just finished their hours and is testing out.
My 8th is about to finish up right behind them.
