Turkey Trot Midlothian

Thank you to the generous businesses of Midlothian who donated raffle items for the Turkey Trot!

With the Turkey Trot Midlothian 5K & Fun Run 2025 now complete, I want to take a moment to thank the 624 participants who came out to this amazing community event. What a beautiful building block this was for our city. Flourish Fitness is truly honored to have host it.

There were so many wonderful moments, and also areas where we can grow. Thank you all for your grace, patience, and support as we continue to develop and improve this race.
I’d like to address a few updates moving forward:

🦃Now that we have real numbers to work from, next year’s race will have a much better estimate for shirt orders. Our goal is for every participant to walk away with a shirt.

🦃This year’s event was put together by a very small but dedicated volunteer team. As we expand, we are looking for additional volunteers for next year.

🦃The race will have its own website, and more information will be shared through email as we get closer to 2026.

🦃We plan to increase the number of medal brackets to make sure all runners have a fair opportunity to earn a medal in the 5K.

A volunteer interest form and post-event survey will be available SOON for anyone who would like to get involved or offer feedback.

Thank you again for being part of something special. This community showed up in such a powerful way, and I can’t wait to see how this event grows in the years ahead. 🧡🦃
