On June 6, 1944, Allied forces launched Operation Overlord, landing 156,000 British, Canadian and American troops across Normandy’s coastline.

Facing insurmountable odds and a heavily fortified "Atlantic Wall," these brave service members altered the trajectory of world history through sheer courage, meticulous planning and unmatched sacrifice.

As a proud supporter of our armed forces, NTS stands in absolute awe of this legacy. We honor the memory of the many heroes who gave everything on those beaches, and we remain deeply committed to supporting the active-duty military, veterans and military families who continue to defend our freedoms today.

D-Day More than 75 years after the end of World War II, the memories remain fresh.

NTS will be closed on Monday, May 25th, 2026 to honor U.S. military personnel who have died in the line of duty.
