Another year in the books, almost! We hope everyone is doing well and want to give a BIG THANK YOU to all of our donors that have contributed this year. Your contribution makes it possible for us to continue our worthwhile cause in support of VCU Massey Cancer Center's Brain Tumor Research and Awareness programs. We are completing our 2022 fundraising activities and will again donate $5,000 to the VCU Massey Cancer Center. This year POPTAP has been recognized as a member of the Virginia Commonwealth University's President's Club for annual giving.

Hi Everyone,
We had the best day yesterday. Brian and I had a private tour of the Goodwin Research Lab facility which is part of the VCU Massey Cancer Center. Dr. Justin Sperlazza conducted the tour and explained in terms that we could understand what they do in these labs to learn about cancer cells and treatments. He stressed how much community involvement is needed in supporting their efforts. At the end of our one hour tour we presented a $17,500 check to Lauren Kiger, Assistant Director of Development Events at VCU Massey Cancer Center. (see attached)

I thank you for your support and generosity which enables POPTAP to continually contribute to brain tumor research and education. Again, many, many thanks and be sure to have a safe, happy, and healthy Christmas and New Year.

As we move ahead with our charitable planning for this year, we want you to know that POPTAP became a registered non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization in 2013. Our focus will continue to be charitable fundraising via trademarked POPTAP merchandise, charitable contributions, online auctions, and the POPTAP Charity Golf Tournament.
Proceeds are donated to the VCU Massey Cancer Center; as well as to National Brain Tumor organizations.
