Life has a way of giving us pop quizzes.

A problem you didn’t prepare for.
A conversation you didn’t expect.
A moment that catches you off guard.

But following Jesus doesn’t mean we never face unexpected moments. It means the Holy Spirit is forming us so we can respond differently when they come.

In Luke 7, the centurion told Jesus, “Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.”

That’s real faith.

Real faith doesn’t need God to show up exactly how we expected. Real faith trusts that Jesus is present, His word has authority, and His Spirit is already at work.

This week, ask:

Holy Spirit, where are You inviting me to trust Jesus?

Real faith isn’t forced from the outside; it’s formed by the Spirit on the inside.
