This pool is a great example of how layout and function can work together to create a backyard that feels intentional from every angle.

The design is not just one open pool area. It has layers, movement, and different features that all connect together in a way that makes the space feel custom.

A few details that stand out:

🌊 The long waterfall feature creates a strong focal point and brings movement into the design
πŸͺ¨ The stonework adds texture, dimension, and a clean finished look around the pool
πŸ› The built-in slide makes the space fun and family-friendly without feeling out of place
πŸ”₯ The hot tub is connected into the layout so it feels like part of the design, not an add-on
🚢 The steps connect the raised stone feature back down to the pool area in a natural way
πŸ’‘ The lights on the steps add visibility, safety, and a finished look for evening use
πŸ’¦ The waterfall connection ties the different levels together and makes the whole space feel more custom
🏑 The full layout gives the backyard separate areas for swimming, relaxing, playing, and gathering

A pool like this takes planning. Every feature has to make sense with the next... the placement of the slide, the stone walls, the steps, the water features, the hot tub, the lighting, and the way people will move through the space.

At Cogburn Contracting, we believe outdoor spaces should be built with purpose, not just filled with features.

Built with purpose. Built with pride. Built with true grit.

This kitchen transformation is another piece of the full home remodel that we have been showing you. These photos are a good example of how much planning goes into making a space feel more open, functional, and finished.

The old kitchen and dining area had darker finishes, tile flooring, and a layout that felt more closed off from the rest of the home. For this remodel, the space was reworked with a more open flow into the living area, new flooring carried throughout, updated cabinetry, a large island, black countertops, tile backsplash, pendant lighting, and updated fixtures.

What makes a kitchen remodel successful is not just picking pretty finishes. It’s knowing how the layout needs to function, where storage matters most, how the lighting should work, and how each detail connects to the rest of the home.

There’s a reason Cogburn Contracting has become the preferred contractor for homeowners throughout Ellis County. We don’t just look at one room... we look at how the whole home needs to work together.

A full home remodel is about more than updating a space. It’s about making the entire home feel intentional, connected, and built for the way your family actually lives.

Built with purpose. Built with pride. Built with true grit.
