The MILE

Did you know that over 130 seniors have at least 1 class at The MILE? Add that to the 64 LEAP graduates, and we know about 23% of MISD’s graduating seniors! We were so to celebrate them today!

Shout out to Officer Newcomb and Dr. Morgan who both celebrated their own graduates this weekend!

This week, students in our game design classes at The MILE participated in a Pokemon-themed scavenger hunt created by our advanced video game programming students! During this activity, they went around the school to find and “catch” as many as they could using dice, and recorded their results along the way. Afterward, they compiled their data to find out probability patterns and other statistics, then used the data to make informed improvements and additions to the game!
