But really...I don't understand why someone would turn this down.

Rakuten is an affiliate shopping program. If you go to their app or website BEFORE shopping your favorite brands, they will give you cash back. No gimmick - it's that simple.

Most online retailers partner with Rakuten. If you don't see it advertised on their website, all you have to do is use the store search on the App. If you install the chrome extension, offers will pop up automatically when you go to the stores website. :)
