April is Safe Digging Month, an important reminder about the role safe digging plays in protecting underground utilities, neighborhoods, and communities.

We are proud to support damage prevention and safe excavation practices across the areas we serve. Throughout the month, we’ll be sharing tips and resources about how to dig safely, starting with calling 811 before you dig.

Spring digging season is officially here — and it's a big one. A new national survey finds 74% of American homeowners plan to dig this spring. That's an estimated 60 million households breaking ground. Before you're one of them, take one simple step: Contact 811. Have underground utility lines marked before you dig — every project, every time.
