Ike's Mobile Kayak Rentals

"What's Yoga + Kayaking like?" I get this question a LOT! Well let me tell you all about it! For the Tridge events, we start off by getting the kayaks from Ike's Mobile Kayak Rentals in the water right at the fully-accessible kayak launch dock next to the Tridge, then (new for the 2023 season) do a few paddle stretches together to warm up the shoulders before setting off upstream on the river. After a little while, we head back with a more leisurely float downstream, where we unload the kayaks and set up for yoga on dry land.

At Ross Lake, we launch from the beach in the public park, then explore the lake together before picking our spot for yoga on dry land!

To start the movement practice, I've developed a set of what I call "paddle poses" - you know I can't resist a good yoga toy opportunity! - and then generally stretch out and relax from the work on the water.

All-in-all it's 2 hours of enjoying nature, enjoying each other's company, and enjoying moving our bodies together. What's NOT to love?! 😍
