Almost Friday! also almost time for another issue!

Student Leadership (SL) may be limited to a student’s time in high school, but the skills learned are applicable to life beyond graduation. In this course, students are able to go on field trips, participate in and organize school events, and lead peers. Fundraisers are a big portion of the events they help to coordinate, alongside spirit weeks and homecoming. Student Leadership aims to establish connections within the school, and demonstrate students’ kindness among the community.

“I think it enhances a lot of your empathy and understanding with other people because one of our main topics is vulnerability and finding the person you are on the inside,” SL student and sophomore Mari Yezak said.
