High Sky Children's Ranch

1 in 4 students start the school year without the supplies they need. That includes children right here in the Permian Basin.

Every year, High Sky works to ensure the youth we serve start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. Our annual School Supply Drive helps make that possible, but it only works because of the generosity of our community.

We are currently accepting physical and monetary donations for this drive. Take a look at our most-needed supplies and help us fill backpacks before July 31.

Thank you to Atmos Energy and United Way of Midland for generously providing literacy kits for school-age children served through High Sky Children's Ranch's Emergency Shelter, Foster Care, and Stay Together programs!

These kits will give children access to new books and activities that encourage reading, learning, and spending quality time with their caregivers. We are grateful for partners who invest in children and families in our community and help create opportunities for them to learn and grow!

☀️ We’re hiring summer lifeguards! ☀️

High Sky is looking for a licensed lifeguard (or two!) to help keep our residents safe and active at the pool this summer. Because our residents are only permitted to swim at facilities staffed with licensed lifeguards, this role plays an important part in creating fun, healthy summer experiences for the children and youth we serve.

🏊 Flexible part-time summer hours
☀️ Approximately 20–30 hours per week
☀️ Position can be filled by one person or split between two
