At only 11 hours old, I got the awesome opportunity to photograph the absolutely adorable little Axel James. He was happy and content the entire time, wide awake for most of my time there, and an absolute bundle of joy. I love him! Erin LaVier Sorensen Lora L LaVier

After two places were closed, we ended up doing the shoot in front of Dow Gardens, with limited lighting, as the sun was quickly going down. I'd like to try again on some of these shots, although I did get some that I think are really cute.

A huge thank to Amber and Josh, Rochelle and Jacob; and Taryn and Matt for sharing your beautiful families with me for an afternoon! I thoroughly enjoyed photographying your gorgeous children and look forward to the next opportunity that I get to do so. :)

The next several days are going to be gorgeous... would be a great time for fall shots at Dow Gardens! If anyone is interested, let me know. I have a lot going on, but could always squeeze in a shoot or two :) It's a great time to get your family pictures done for the upcoming holidays....
