WARNING...LOOOOONG POST AHEAD...
I'm still flying high from yesterday!!! BRAVO/BRAVA to all of our dancers!!! I could not be any prouder of this show and all the dancers.

You all heard me say this a million times already but this show was a beast. I had such a clear vision of what I wanted for this 15 year celebration and I knew it would be tough to pull off. Then add in my cancer battle and it became that much tougher. BUT this show was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be and more.

Thank you to my teachers, Miss Nichole, Miss Mia and Miss Laura. I am the luckiest person in the world to have you 3 by my side. I appreciate you helping my vision come to life through your outstanding choreography and dedication. And more so, I appreciate beyond words how you supported me and BDC through my diagnosis, treatments, surgery and recovery. I HATED being away from the studio and my kiddos but I never once worried about the studio because I knew you had it under control. That's something I'll never be able to emphasize enough.

Thank you to my student teachers who always go above and beyond for me. I'm so thankful for your help all year, and this week. And I am BEYOND proud of all of you. You guys crushed it! I asked you to perform your butts off and you most certainly did.

Congratulations to our new student teachers for this upcoming season: Claire, Jordan, Lily, MacKenzie and Siena. You ladies have more than earned this honor. I know you're all going to be remarkable new members of this amazing team we have.

Thank you to all of my Backstage Crew. You are all the backbone of this show. The list of things that needs to get done this week is pages long and I'd never be able to pull it off without you. Thank you for having pride in your work and treating this show as if it was your own.

Thank you to all of the dressing room moms. Thank goodness the large majority of you have done this in years past or I don't think you'd ever volunteer again!! The way you all took my notes from the sh*tshow that was rehearsals and applied them was the reason this show was a success. I appreciate you trusting me and following my vision.

Thank you to all of my alumni that came back to celebrate this milestone. Brianna, Elena, Emma, Nicole, Aleyna, Marissa, Kendall, Kaylea, Tekai, Mia C, Mia F, and Gabby...your performance was amazing, I'm so impressed with all how well you all did. I LOVED our studio time catching up and reminiscing. I have so many wonderful memories with you all, and now I have this one too.

To all of the moms and grandmoms, and Joe that performed in our "TOP SECRET" Parent Dance. I think the kids were SHOCKED, lol. I really can't wait to hear what your family's reactions were. I'm so honored that I had such a huge group of you. I had so much fun with you guys there just might be a parent class coming soon 😘

To my Seniors, Delaney, Jayden & Jordyn...YOU DID IT!!!! Congratulations, I'm so proud of you and can't wait to see where the future takes you.

And lastly I want to thank my sister, Gina, who always has been and always will be the "Wind Beneath My Wings". I love you beyond measure.

Now it's time to sort, reorganize and pack away all the show stuff and get set up and ready for camps that start next week. And of course I've already started planning for next year's show...I have a lot to live up to now 🤪
