It's finally Spring and irrigation systems are starting to come back online. Two things to remember when you call us for a backflow test appointment:
1). Make sure the irrigation system has been reactivated FIRST.
2). No need to call months in advance for an appointment. We can usually schedule tests within 1 week.

Got called out to a vacant retail space in a strip mall. Customer said backflow device was leaking. The 3/4" Watts 919 turned out to be 14' up in the ceiling. AS USUAL the relief valve diaphragm had become de-laminated. This is a VERY common failure mode on a 919. Not a difficult repair, if you know what to look for, except for device location.
