If pure bliss had a face, it would look exactly like Charlie! 😌🐾

🐾 Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

A friendly reminder that will be CLOSED today in observance of the holiday. Normal hours will resume on Monday, July 6th. 🗓️

While you celebrate, please keep your furry friends in mind! The 4th can be a stressful time for pets, but a few small steps can make a big difference:

🔴 Create a Safe Space: Set up a quiet, comfortable room with calming music or a TV to drown out the noise of fireworks.
⚪️ Keep Them Inside: More pets run away on the 4th of July than any other day. Make sure they are indoors before the fireworks start.
🔵 Update ID Tags: Ensure your pet’s microchip information and collar tags are up to date, just in case.
🔴 Skip the Table Scraps: Many barbecue foods, especially bones, onions, grapes, and xylitol-containing products, are toxic to pets.
⚪️ Calm Before the Storm: have your Thunder Shirt, Doggy Deep Sleep playlist, calming meds or treats ready and given at an appropriate time before the festivities begin! Pets in panic mode are distressed and easily spooked and sometimes sent into fight or flight mode, making it difficult to calm them down or have them properly respond if they run away or act out due to fear.
🔵 Help support them if they’re frightened and know your nearest pet ER or Pet Poison number in case of any holiday emergencies! Light up/reflective tag pendants are handy for night time celebrations to keep your pup visible if they’ve gone into hiding or run away!

Stay safe and have a wonderful holiday! 🦅🎆🌭

Fighting the Sleepies! 😴🐾

Talk about a total spa transformation! As you can see, sweet “OP” was fighting a losing battle against naptime right on the grooming table. 🤭

When OP first arrived, he was a little skeptical and less than thrilled but after a soothing warm bath, a fresh new haircut, and a whole lot of reassurance, everything changed. He went from super anxious to handing out endless kisses, wagging and completely melting into the experience until he could barely keep his eyes open! 🥱💖

Moments like the these are exactly why we do what we do. Grooming can be scary for a lot of dogs, but our mission is always to build trust and turn it into a positive, pampering experience. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a dog go from "no thanks" to "don't stop, this feels great!" We hope you had a wonderful post-groom nap, OP! 😌🥰✂️🫧
