This is a Rutherford - Napa Cabernet.
All the characteristics of a Rutherford Cab
On the nose; Cocoa, cherry, black fruits, cedar/pencil shavings
Tasting: Cassis/blackberry, Cherry, hint of mint, med tannin, with a smooth, velvety finish.
Such a good wine and if you can get a Rutherford Cab under $30, that is great. I have seen the price all over the place

2021 Walking Fool.
Red Blend: Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. 13.9%
Suisun Valley - Napa’s Neighbor

This wine is made by Jenny Wagner from Caymus. We met her at Caymus in August. She is also responsible for Emmolo.

On the nose this wine has raspberry jam, some earthiness/stone, coco powder and spice.

Med, soft tannin, raspberry, blueberry pie, espresso and
Sweet plum.

I would suggest decanting for hour to let it open up.

Solid Wine that has great balance throughout

Price range is $27-$34

2021 Kith & Kin
From Round Pound

Kith & Kin means Friends & Family. Who better to share wine with!

This Cabernet is 93% Cab, 4% Petit Verdot, 2% Merlot and 1% Malbec.

On the nose I got ripe, juicy fruit, some earthiness and spices.

Blueberries, black current, and raspberry. It had a nice long finish with med tannin but still had a silky feel.

Thought it was a bit young so will be interested in seeing this in a few years.
$30-$40 range. Solid wine
