It’s all in the lighting when it comes to showing off your artwork. For example, these three pics are of the same piece:
1️⃣ is the mauve Rainbows maxi in process, under halogen light
2️⃣ is the finished earring, taken in front of natural sunlight
3️⃣ is the website image (produced), done in a light box with three different light sources.
While I love my current setup for pictures, there is no doubt that the natural light is the most appealing, don’t you agree?

Rainbows! These Rainbows maxi studs in classic rainbow colors make anyone’s day a lot brighter.
I personally like matching them with black tops, although red is a close second choice.
There is no bad choice when it comes to these beauties!

Rainbows…
Rainbows?
Rainbows!
Who doesn’t love a rainbow? I’ve felt a little more colorful than normal lately - maybe it’s that I’m turning 40 this week? Who knows! I’m trying out different color combinations - but I’m a classic rainbow addict!
I had to do this - the polymer clay closet was a mess! To be honest, it didn’t take long to organize since I like to keep everything in rainbow order.
This space seems to work only when I have small amounts of polymer clay at a time - with the scarcity of it, it has worked for me so far.
What do you do to organize your crafting tools? I’d love some ideas.

Who’s feeling Christmas a little earlier this year?
Call me 🧑🎄 but don’t dress me in red or green (or red and green!) - some blue and white and anything in between is more my style.
I made these mini hoops with some of the retro vibes slab made by my son, featuring a chilly, winter color. Their designs are completely different, like two little snowflakes.
P.S. I may hire my 10 year old as my slab designer!

I’ve had a busy week so far - from finishing touches on every piece that is on this reel every night after work this week, to checking off things from my day job to-do’s, and cramming a jewelry photo shoot today, right as we start Thanksgiving weekend!
These babies (and some others) will go up on the website on Saturday for small business Saturday! I offer free shipping on all US orders 😎😎
I’m looking forward to the festivities and a relaxing weekend right after. What about you?

My 10 year old son created this slab and I named this collection Retro Vibes because of how groovy it came out!
We made a bunch of studs, each one has a unique pattern depending on the cut. No two studs are alike, not even the patterns on the same pair!
Working with polymer clay has been a unique way to get my creativity back on track, and it has also piqued my kids interest in what I do - sometimes they get so involved that they want to create their own ❤️

After becoming a mom, I never thought I would get my “me” time again, as well as the support I have to be creative. Thank you all for supporting me with something as simple as a like, a share, a comment, voting on a poll, or even better, a purchase - all that takes my work to every corner of the world and I love being able to do this.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
❤️, Maria
My motto is “Do it scared!”
So, Saturday nights are for experiments!
I’m testing a new way to make polymer clay beads that are even lighter that the usually beads we can make - I would most likely use leftover clay and cover with a nice color, but this is very wasteful and it could potentially make a bead too heavy for earrings.
With this experiment, I’m attempting to make a hollow polymer clay bead!
You will need:
✨polymer clay (obviously) - I used sculpey premo on this one
✨a small styrofoam sphere
✨baking soda (for a baking “bed”)
This experiment goes in the oven tomorrow, it will be cured following Sculpey Premo guidelines. I will follow up with results!
