This is my book “loving me” - a collection of writings sharing my journey of doing one of the hardest things I ever imagined: learning how to fall utterly and completely in love with all of me. To not reject, neglect or shame who I have been or who I am today. and to be honest, this is the most voulnerable thing I’ve ever done.

To share writings directly from my journal with the entire world to read - and for it to be the most raw, vulnerable parts of myself - felt quite honestly insane.

I wanted to hide this book for far too long, and shield it from the world.

But I thought often of the book Big Magic and the idea of just how vulnerable it is to live a big brave creative life - how much it takes of us to risk the fear of being misunderstood or judged in order to been fully seen in our creative self expression. It’s far too easy to run and hide and protect our art and ourselves from the harshness of the world.

But i also thought about the other side of that experience - i thought about the expansion. What about the beauty and fulfillment that is possible when we share our art and it means something to someone else? What about when it helps people to feel seen, understood and encouraged to be whatever version of themselves they desire? What about the power of how art unifies us and allows us to grow collectively?

And this, I couldn’t ignore - and I couldn’t ignore the fact that this book wanted to be shared.

My dream is you love this book. That you see yourself in it. That the words are healing and supportive to you in a hard or beautiful moment. That in some small way it makes you feel free, and maybe you even share it with a friend or two.
