I have been a director of photography, a photo editor, a teacher for workshops all over the world and I have mentored hundreds of photographers to move them forward in this business. Our beloved friend has passed away. Sara Terry has been so important in this world. She was hugely generous and moved so many people forward. She created the Aftermath Grant. She made important films. She was beloved by everyone who knew her and we will really miss her forever. We at Vll Foundation are completely heartbroken. Please keep her in your prayers. There’s nobody like her and we are grateful that she was our friend for many many years
