It was great catching up with in Miami for a podcast together along with signing some records and CD’s for the current auction, including this very special 1-of-1 acetate of my new remix for “Mercury & Solace”.

💫 So many visions of the past came rushing back while going through my BT acetates. I remember Brian sending DAT tapes that I’d quickly cut to acetate so I could road test them in clubs. I was constantly struck by how forward-thinking his music was. Some nights, as much as half my set was made up of unreleased BT tracks.
One moment that really stayed with me was seeing Brian standing in the middle of the dance floor, watching the crowd respond to his music in real time. It was something special for both of us to experience. You could see and feel the connection, the energy, and the emotion as those records landed and took hold of the room.

Going through my archive always brings back a flood of nostalgia.
I was lucky to receive music from BT before almost anyone else, and ended up playing so many of those records in my vinyl sets through the 90s and early 2000s. They were more than just new tracks, they were part of the energy of the time, a sound still unfolding in real time.
Some of my personal favorites from that period are now up for auction as part of this drop with Brian and Amplifyd. Sharing them now feels meaningful, as each one carries not just the music, but the memories and context of that creative chapter.
These are special pieces of electronic music history, and I am excited to see them passed on to people who truly understand what they represent.
