On Saturday, March 21, 2026, around 4:30 p.m. Central Time, a space rock crashed through a home in northwest Houston, Texas. Several witnesses in surrounding areas reported seeing a bright fireball or hearing a loud boom just before the meteorite’s supposed ground fall.

Soon after a meteorite entry through Earth’s atmosphere was confirmed through analysis of NOAA NEXRAD and TIAH (TDWR airport radar) weather radar signatures, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration
predicted a strewn field of fallen meteorites.
