The Story

I saw this St. John Knit sweater on Shonda Rhimes, posed on the cover of Time magazine, and she looked absolutely beautiful in it. The sweater felt powerful yet feminine to me, and I instantly knew I had to have it. At the time, I was working at St. John Knit, so I waited for it to arrive in our boutique.

When it finally did, someone accidentally tagged one of the sweaters at $99.99 instead of its original $1,099 price. I walked out with a thousand-dollar sweater for a hundred dollars!

It feels incredibly comfortable, carries a quiet sense of luxury, a classic timeless piece, and remains one of my most loved pieces. Every time I wear it, I’m reminded why I fell for it in the first place. I love it.
