The City of Miami Department of Fire-Rescue responded to a fire at a vacant structure that had been heavily secured with boards and metal bars. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The City of Miami Department of Fire-Rescue’s Fire Prevention Bureau is conducting one of its final life-safety inspections at the FIFA Fan Fest location at Bayfront Park. Their mission is to ensure that all life-safety requirements are met and that the venue footprint is safe for the thousands of visitors expected to attend.
