What moment has been the highlight of your time here?

Jordyn: I think one of my highlights of my BodyTraffic experience has to be the premiere of my first work Coalescence at the Avalon- specifically the feeling that I had during the bow. I could feel the love from my fellow ladies on stage by my side, I could hear the boys of BT shouting from the wings and I will never forget the rush from the audience. I feel honored to have gotten the love, support and opportunity to be able to share my voice on such a large platform. And the fact that I got to also share a choreographic work and process with Pedro this year, a true melding of the minds- my first choreographic collaboration and one that I will never forget. In the end, getting to experience the stage and space over and over again with the people that I love and admire is something that I will never take for granted. Thank you Tina for trusting, mentoring and accepting me and my artistic voice.

What will you miss the most about BODYTRAFFIC?
Katie: I’ll miss the people here the most. BODYTRAFFIC has been more than a company — it’s been a family. The daily collaboration, the laughter, the support, the shared fatigue and the artistry we shared created such a wholesome environment. I’ll ultimately just really miss seeing them everyday. They are people I genuinely love, immensely admire and truly enjoy sharing all my time with.
