Winter storm Izzy is spreading mess of snow and ice from Midwest into south and east!
The heaviest snow – at least 6 inches – is expected in a band from central and eastern North Dakota and northeastern South Dakota across western Minnesota, Iowa and far northern Missouri. This includes the Des Moines metro area.
Lighter amounts are expected in the Twin Cities, Kansas City, and St. Louis.
Regardless, roads will be slippery in these areas, particularly Friday and Friday night.

This storm will soon path, but for now it can present a real danger, so make sure to prepare for it!

We urge all drivers from North Dakota down to northern Georgia and up to Maine to be careful while driving. Do not try to weather the storm. Stay safe, friends!
