The Flamingo Democrats, the Miami-Dade LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus, (formerly the Freedom Democrats and the Dan Bradley Democratic Club) is one of several Florida Le***an, Gay Bisexual, Transgender and Q***r (LGBTQ+) Democratic caucuses throughout Florida. We are registered as an official caucus under the umbrella of the Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus and are chartered under the auspices of the Florida Democratic Party.

As we begin this most challenging year of our lifetimes, many of us may not be feeling all the joy we normally do at this time of year. But despite political opponents claiming they have a mandate to discriminate against us, we're undeterred and fully ready to protect our communities and make positive change.
And with that in mind, the Flamingo Democrats will hold our election, to choose the leaders who will be not just the resistance, but the standard bearers around whom we rally in these difficult times.
The time to renew for 2025 is now!
To vote in the Flamingo Democrats elections you must have been an active member 45 days before the election - and our election will be held in late February! So the time to join is now.
Dues are only $30.00 per year. Any Democrat who supports the goals of equality and is registered to vote in Miami-Dade County is welcome to join.
