QUESTION?
Would you support a law that REQUIRES every scam, fraud, or cybercrime to be reported - at least to a local, state, or federal law enforcement agency?
It would require that such crimes be reported within 30 days of the discovery of the crime.
Do you think this would remove the burden of decision-making that paralyzes scam victim-survivors now?
And removes the option of denial and hiding that prevents accurate reporting analysis? Of course, denial is not quite an option, but an external influence, such as a law, can provide the impulse needed to regain agency.
Your detailed response is important.
